
We provide therapy designed camps and after-school activities for children with an intellectual disability aged between 8 and 18 years.
Aims of the camp
- Fun!
- Safe inclusive environment for children with a disability
- An opportunity to partake in a summer camp the same as typically developing children
- Therapeutically driven activities that are adapted and tailored to facilitate maximum engagement and skill building of the individual child
Occupational Therapy (OT) Interventions
- Fine motor skills
- Gross motor skills
- Sensory motor skills
- Social skills
The Blossom Camp programme is delivered by a trained professional paediatric team. OT will train and equip team with skills to facilitate and adapt/grade activities to child’s needs. There is an emphasis on fun and engagement on the day. Camps last between 3 and 5 days with each day lasting 4 hours.
