Our Fundraising Principles

Blossom Ireland appreciates the generosity of our donors and volunteers, and we pledge to treat all our donors with respect, honesty and openness.

To this end, we are fully committed to achieving the standards contained within the Statement of Guiding Principles of Fundraising as set out by the ICTR. The ICTR is the representative organisation of charities (over 150 member organisations) committed to creating the climate for a vibrant, independent charity sector in Ireland.  They focus particularly on policy issues and the promotion of best practice and public confidence in the sector. You can view the Statement of Guiding Principles for Fundraising here or visit the ICTR website here. for more information.

The Statement exists to:

  1. Improve fundraising practice;
  2. Promote high levels of accountability and transparency by organisations fundraising from the public;
  3. Provide clarity and assurances to donors and prospective donors about the organisation they support.

We, Blossom Ireland, have considered the Statement and believe we meet the standards it sets out.
